Project Dark

Call for Istanbul Artists! We are interested in works that approach identity through a personal lens. Rather than direct cultural representation, the exhibition seeks artists whose work reflects individual experience, emotional depth, and a distinct artistic voice.

Works that explore darker, sensual, or psychologically charged themes are especially welcome. We are drawn to art that carries atmosphere, tension, and presence — where the artist's personality is clearly embedded in the work.

We especially encourage emerging and early-career artists living in Istanbul to apply. Please submit up to 3 works. In a few sentences, tell us what these works mean to you and how they relate to the themes of the exhibition. There will also be an online magazine feature, where you can talk about yourself and your work.
